The Miller Insurance Group Difference
Core Values:
1. Relationships – Relationships are the life-blood of the work we do. We want to know you or your company’s circumstances to be able to best serve you.
2. Trust – We want to be one of our customer’s closest advisors. Let us be your risk manager so you can allocate resources differently to help grow your family or business.
3. Industry Knowledge
– Our licensed insurance producers have over one hundred years of combined insurance experience. Additionally, insurance regulations are changing on an almost daily basis. We keep up with these changes so our customers do not have to.
4. Service Excellence – We believe service excellence starts and ends with communication. We strive to paint a clear picture of what our customers should expect when working with us at each step of the process. Why Choose an Insurance Broker
With so many “big box” insurance companies out there today, why choose an insurance broker? An insurance broker, also known as an independent insurance agent, is able to “shop” your insurance need(s) to a number of carriers to find the carrier who best meets an individual’s or company’s needs at the best price. Part of Something Bigger than Ourselves
In 2007, we partnered with Keystone Insurers Group. Keystone is an independent insurance agency group, serving over 150,000 individuals, businesses, and organizations through an extensive network of locally owned and operated agency partners. As one of the largest privately held insurance firms in the nation, we have developed positions of prominence among numerous regional, national, and global insurers. This position allows us to serve your insurance needs to the fullest extent. Our Story
Miller Insurance was founded after some of the most difficult years in our country’s history. In 1937, Richard S. Miller started Miller Insurance, and shortly thereafter opened the first office in Bremen, Indiana. As the agency grew, so did the need to add staff. In the early 1960s, both of Richard’s sons, Dan and Doug Miller, joined their father in the business. From that point through the 1980s it truly was a “family” business. In 1987, a third generation joined the business when Greg Miller transitioned from the carrier to the agency side of the insurance business. The 1990s were a time of incredible growth. On the last day of 1999 Miller Insurance acquired Norcen Insurance out of Culver, Indiana. With the acquisition, Miller/Norcen Insurance was born. Miller/Norcen Insurance has continued its growth since then. Earlier this year, generation four joined the business as Greg’s son, Chad, opened and operates a new branch of the business out of Indianapolis, Indiana. We now have twelve team members in three different locations: Bremen, Culver, and Indianapolis. We are wrapping up our 78th year of business and we look forward to many more! Our Product Lines
