Veal Insurance is an independent agency representing several different insurance companies. The agency was founded over 60 years ago by Vierl Veal and is still family-owned and operated. The agency is licensed in 7 states and is a member of the Professional Insurance Agents Association.

Veal Insurance Agency was founded by Vierl and Mabel Veal in 1954. Having lived in Franklin Township they started their family business out of their home. Vierl passed away suddenly in 1973. Mabel, still having a young child in the home, took over the Agency and learned the business to take care of her family. In 1984 the Veal’s youngest son, Jeff, began working at the Agency, which had by then grown into a small successful business. In 2013 Mabel retired at the age of 94.

Over the years, Veal Insurance Agency has continued to operate and grow by sticking to their family and faith-based beliefs. We are active in the community and support the local church and other community initiatives with the schools, baseball leagues and non-profit organizations. They are looking forward to serving more customers by opening a second location on Franklin Road in the Hoosier Realtors office.
