Self-servicing may help with possible longer than usual hold times
As you know, some agents and customers in the storm paths may be without power and internet service and only able to contact us by phone.
It’s easy—go to Manage Policies > Customer/Policy Search to find a policy using the policy number or customer's name. Once you're in the customer's Policy Summary screen, you'll have lots of servicing options, including:
Process an endorsement: Go to Process Endorsements, select the policy term, and follow the prompts. You'll be able to update customer addresses, vehicles, drivers and coverages, order MVRs, view filings, and more.
Print a proof of insurance or COI: Go to Documents, select Proof of Insurance or Certificate of Insurance, and then follow the prompts. You can print, email and fax right from your desktop.
Start a claim: Access your customer’s policy, select “Claims”, and then select “Report a claim for the insured” in the lower right of the page to get started. Note that this functionality is available for Personal Auto, Recreational Lines, and Commercial Auto.

This includes a hurricane, fire, flood, or tropical storm watch, warning or occurrence.
