Last weekend, I went out on my buddy’s boat on Geist, and while we were hanging out with some of his friends, the conversation naturally turned to life, kids, and of course... boat insurance.

A few of them already had boat insurance, so they thought they were covered. But once we started talking about their policies, they realized there were some things they didn’t have covered that they probably should.

I was able to walk them through what they were missing, answer their questions, and get them signed up right there. Sometimes it really is that easy.

If you already have boat insurance, don’t just assume you’re fully covered. Things change. Your boat, your equipment, your usage and your coverage needs can all change too.

Take a few minutes to sit down and look at your policy again. You might be surprised by what’s covered... and what isn’t.
