The cryptocurrency markets have not been immune from the global selling pressure that we have witnessed over the past several sessions- but we do not believe this reflects a change in the long-term outlook for digital currencies.

We view this sell-off constructively as we believe that lower prices will spur institutions to adopt enhanced digital asset services before prices recover.

Institutions worldwide are slowly waking up to the realization that they must follow the lead of Japan's largest bank (Mitsubishi Bank that recently announced plans to offer exchange and custody services for digital assets) and start assimilating Bitcoin and other digital currencies into their existing infrastructure. We believe that the current price drop has created a more attractive entry point for these institutions, allowing them to enter the sector without the risk of having “top-ticked” the market.
