It’s almost Berry season! Here are some great spots to pick berries in Central Indiana!

Driving Wind Farm | This farm opened to the public in 2011 and expands its crop selection every year. This season, you can expect strawberry picking in June and blueberries + blackberries from late June into August.

Waterman’s Family Farm | This farm + market has already opened for the season, with strawberries and asparagus ripe for the picking now.

Spencer Berry Farm | This Noblesville favorite has asparagus available now, with strawberries expected to debut in early or mid-May. They get picked over quickly, so keep an eye out for updates — or visit for raspberries in June or grapes in August.

Beasley’s Orchard | Starting in mid-May, you can walk or take the free hayride shuttle to the strawberry patch to pick your perfect berries. Raspberry season is expected to begin in June.

Trash pick up delayed due to snow!

Indy DPW crews have been working overnight to pretreat routes across the city ahead of this weekend’s snow storm and will continue on rotating, 12-hour shifts for the next several days.

Trash and recycling pickup will be completed Saturday before the storm, but Monday (January 26) trash/recycling pickup is canceled and all pickup will be pushed one day on a sliding schedule (just like this week following Monday’s holiday).

Road conditions are expected to be hazardous and residents should avoid driving, if possible.
