No dignified way to do it — you just show up and surrender. 😂

BUT… they handed me a heated gown today. On a cool morning, that little luxury almost made up for what they were about to do to my girls. 😅

I wondered why he had such a large stack of handkerchiefs in his hand?
They were a slow moving, much older couple in the laundry facility.
He carefully set up the ironing board and heated up the iron.(Yes, it is that nice a laundry.)
She waited patiently, encouraging him.
When the iron was hot...he said okay dear, you are all set.
She proceeded to iron a few hankies and then said "I am so tired now."
And she would sit down for a bit.
He would offer to finish the ironing and she would jump up and say, "No dear, you worked all day. This is my job."
And she would iron a few more.
They would both visit with anyone who wandered into do their laundry.
After a couple hours, the entire stack had been ironed. They headed for home.
She was beaming with pride.
This outing repeats itself several times a week.
She has always been proud of and enjoyed ironing.
He just wants her to feel like she is contributing.
