Someone found us online and reached out because they were unhappy with their current insurance agent. They were getting nonrenewed by their insurance company because their agent didn't properly advise them. We were able to work with the customer and the insurance company to get the insurance company the info they needed to reinstate the policy as if nothing happened. It took a little bit of work on the customers end, but they appreciated our advice and service so much that they are going to start working with us on their auto and home insurance. Pretty simple. ATTENTION: Homeowners with homes newer than 1980 that need flood insurance...today is your lucky day. The company we work with on flood insurance just (on Monday) connected up with a new underwriting company that has insane rates for homes newer than 1980. I literally just saved a client 80-90% on his flood insurance...last week the quote came out to about $4,000, and I quoted it again this week and it came out to about $600...this is not a joke. Also, effective October 1st, it looks like the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is going to be doing a complete overhaul on all flood insurance "to make insurance pricing more accurately reflect each property’s unique flood risk."
