Reading updates that effective immediately, per agency guidelines, borrower names must exactly match their Social Security records for all loan transactions.

•The borrower’s name must match their Social Security number (SS #) exactly as it appears in official records.
•Marriage licenses are not an acceptable form of name verification.
•All loans must close in the borrower’s legal name.

Would plan on providing a picture of your social security card when doing a mortgage going forward.
