CAN you help us? With the help of our friends at Novelis, we are collecting cans this week at our area ReStores in Cleveland, North Randall and Amherst. Bring us the aluminum from your recycling bin and do some shopping while you're here. Let's CRUSH it, shall we?

The City of Cleveland Land Bank gave their application process a total makeover and the portal is now open! Land Banks play a vital part in the work to stabalize and improve properties. Creating homeowners is usually the number one priority but that doesn't mean there is no room for investors. Especially investors whose goals of community development align with their local Land Bank's. Take some time to get to know the one(s) in your area!

After a complete redevelopment of the City of Cleveland Land Bank application process, the portal is now open!

This initial launch will serve as a 60-day trial period, giving residents until November 20 to submit a Side Yard Expansion Application for consideration.

The Side Yard Expansion Program provides eligible property owners an opportunity to purchase qualifying City Land Bank lots that are adjacent to their existing property.

🗣️ Have a say on Cleveland’s data center rules:

City Council is holding three public hearings as Cleveland considers permanent regulations for large data centers, which can consume enormous amounts of electricity and water.

The city’s temporary ban on new facilities expires Oct. 20.

Residents can weigh in
🟢Sept. 24 at Collinwood Recreation Center,
🟢Sept. 29 at City Hall or
🟢Oct. 7 at Gunning Recreation Center.

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗘𝗟𝗦𝗘’𝗦 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Anthony Chara believes that may be happening in parts of the apartment market right now (read: Opportunity Coming Soon!).

From his perspective, some apartment owners are reaching the maturity date on loans that were originally made under very different financing conditions.

When refinance time arrives, some owners may decide they can’t—or simply don’t want to—keep holding.

For some reason I have apartments on the brain 🤔

This Swiss apartment building has no central corridor.

Designed by Dachtler Partner for Zurich, the Siewerdtstrasse project organizes 69 apartments around three separate stair and elevator cores instead of one long internal hallway.

Its comb-shaped floor plan allows the apartments to open toward two different sides, giving the homes multiple orientations rather than arranging them along a conventional double-loaded corridor.

The project includes a mix of apartment sizes and is planned for Zurich-Oerlikon, with construction currently expected between 2027 and 2029.
