I checked in with a past client today and it reminded me why this is my favorite part of what we do. Once you work with me and Tammy, you’re stuck with us.
When I first started talking with them, they were paying $1,800 in rent and told me they felt comfortable up to $3,000.
So here’s my advice if you’re thinking about buying.
Start living like you're paying that $3000 per month.
If that difference is about $1,200 a month, put it aside. Try it for a few months and see how it feels.
You build a slush fund. You build confidence. And when you move into your new home, you’re not stressed, you’re prepared.

I finally took a little time this afternoon to take down all the Christmas decorations and the tree at the office. 🎄

Since we moved into this space in October and jumped straight into the holidays, it’s officially time to start decorating the office for who we are and what we’re building here.

Of course, Joe’s response was, “None of that girly stuff, Lynn.” 😆
So now I’m standing here thinking… hmm… what exactly does that mean?

The strongest relationships are never built in a single moment. They are built over time through consistency, honesty, and showing up when it matters most.

My goal has never been to simply close loans. It has always been to be a steady resource my clients can rely on well beyond closing day. Through every season of homeownership, every question, every life change, and every next step.

Trust is earned by doing the right thing even when no one is watching. By leading with guidance instead of pressure. By putting people first and transactions second.

The work does not stop just because the week is ending. Homes get listed, offers get written, questions come up, and opportunities move fast. The mortgage business is not a nine to five world, and neither is my commitment to my clients.
