🚔 DISTRACTED DRIVING ENFORCEMENT WEEK 📱

Starting today and continuing for the next week, deputies will be increasing patrols and focusing on distracted driving violations throughout the county.

If you are stopped for being on your phone while driving, there is a strong chance you will be cited.

📵 Idaho’s Hands-Free Law (Effective July 1, 2020):
Drivers are prohibited from holding or using a handheld cell phone while operating a vehicle—even while stopped at a red light or stop sign.

What’s NOT allowed:
• Holding your phone to talk
• Texting, emailing, or browsing
• Any use that requires your hands on the device

What IS allowed:
• Hands-free use (Bluetooth, headset, voice commands)
• GPS use if mounted or voice-operated
• A single touch to start or end a call

Penalties:
• 1st offense: $75
• 2nd offense: $150
• 3rd offense (within 3 years): $300 + possible 90-day license suspension

We are looking for a motivated, Bilingual Insurance Sales Broker to help us serve our growing community. If you are a natural communicator who thrives on building relationships and helping people protect what matters most, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:
** This role involves helping clients find the best insurance solutions while providing exceptional customer service in both required languages.
** Advise clients on diverse insurance products (Auto, Home, Life, etc.) in both English and Spanish.
** Manage policy renewals, quotes, and claims support
** Sales growth through networking, lead follow-up, and community outreach.
** Simplify complex policy details to ensure our clients feel confident and informed.
** Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial quote to policy issuance.
** Build and maintain strong client relationships
** Meet sales targets and performance goals

Qualifications:
** Entry level considered, but experience is preferred
** Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish)
** Strong communication and negotiation skills
** Valid insurance license (or willingness to obtain one)
** Self-Motivated with excellent time management
** Sales Mindset: A "hunter" mentality with a focus on providing excellent service.
