I am an Army Veteran, Wife, and Mother of three. I want to share what led me to this profession with GFI. After getting out of the Army I was a stay at home mom for eight years so that my husband could do what was required of him while he continued to serve our country. When my youngest started school, I went back to work as a federal civilian. I spent a number of years with great leadership, but

we had a child diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes out of nowhere in 2021. It was incredibly hard to help her with her blood sugar and insulin needs while she was at school and I was at work. With my husband’s upcoming retirement, we decided it would be best to leave federal service. With GFI, I have been able to support our daughter and help my fellow Veterans. As a Financial Professional, I have no loyalty to anyone but my clients. I am fully committed and always put your interest first. My clients enjoy personalized service, custom solutions, and the comfort of knowing I'm always just a phone call or text away. If you're in a hard place right now—
I see you.
It’s heavy. It’s lonely.
And it can feel like no one notices how hard you’re fighting just to stay afloat.
But hear this:
Getting through this will be one of your greatest wins.
Not just because of what’s on the other side—
But because of who you’ll become to get there.
This pain is shaping your strength.
This storm is sharpening your edge.
You’re not broken.
You’re becoming.
Everyone’s been in that dark place—
Where the pressure won’t let up,
Where hope feels out of reach,
Where even breathing feels like work.
But that place isn’t forever.

STOP AVOIDING CONFLICT
Kindness isn't filtering the truth until it's nice enough to be ignored.
It's speaking the truth with enough truth to make it land and enough strength to make it stick.
Sometimes it's holding up a mirror and forcing them to look.
There's a difference between hurting someone's feeling and letting them hurt themselves forever.
If you see the truth and stay silent to "keep the peace"...
You're not protecting them.
You're protecting yourself.
It's cowardly, weak, and selfish.
Real kindness isn't avoiding conflict...
It's choosing courage when the easy path is staying out of it.
If you really care...
Don't stay quiet.
The truth might sting for a moment...
But silence scars for life.
