🚨 Customer Alert 🚨
We want to make our customers aware of misleading mortgage-related mailers that have been circulating.
Some customers have received letters that:
List Hyden Citizens Bank as the lender
Include the customer’s name and address
Appear to have a check attached
Use alarming language like “Final Notice” (or sometimes all of the above)
While these mailers may not be illegal, they are designed to confuse or pressure you.

If you receive any communication—by mail, email, text, or phone, do NOT share personal or financial information.
Scammers and third-party companies can access public mortgage records and use that information to make these notices look legitimate.
When in doubt, contact the bank directly.
