We want to take a moment to thank all of the soldiers who sacrificed their life that we may live in freedom. Thank you to all of the family’s who walked beside their loved ones in the honorable fight. Our prayers go out to those who have lost friends and family fighting for our country.

“And being found in human form, he (Jesus) humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” - Philippians 2:8

In this passage, Paul explains that we are to imitate Jesus by the way he loves. The men and women who have lost their lives to serve the Lord and others have shown the love of Jesus by their ultimate sacrifice.

“He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.” - Matthew 10:39
