• Delays in reporting can increase your liability.

Make sure you monitor accounts for fraud and be active in your money management!

WCFCU will never call, text, or email asking you to give out sensitive account information. If someone contacts you claiming there is a problem with your card and asks for that information, stop before you respond. Hang up. Do not click the link. Do not share the code. Contact WCFCU directly.

Protecting your money starts with protecting your information.

URGENT MEMBER ALERT:
Scammers are actively contacting members while pretending to be our fraud center.

Do not give out your card number, PIN, online banking login, verification code, or personal account information over the phone or by text.

This information can allow scammers to create new cards, add cards to Apple Pay or Google Wallet, withdraw cash, or make purchases.

If someone contacts you claiming to be from fraud prevention and asks for sensitive information, hang up immediately and call Walker County Federal Credit Union directly.

Would you rather overpay slightly and get a refund?
Or aim to land as close to zero as possible?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer here. It all comes down to your personal preference, your discipline, and what works best for your situation.
