Its already February, how are the new years goals coming?
Some food for thought.
There are many misconceptions about retirement. Here are just a few.
--Most people say they plan on retiring after hitting age 65: the reality is that more than 3 out of 4 cash out before then, and nearly a third do so before age 55.
--Regarding Moving, about 60% of boomers who want to relocate think they'll move out of state. The reality is that more than 80% stay within their home state.
--75% of today's workers say they plan to toil away for pay in retirement. The reality is that they call it quits. Only about 25% end up taking paid jobs.
