Starting around June 1, legitimate U.S. Census Bureau workers may begin going door-to-door in select areas as part of the 2026 Census Test ahead of the 2030 Census.

As always, be sure to protect your personal information and stay alert for scams. Scammers often use current events and government programs to target residents, so a little caution goes a long way.

REMEMBER:
▪Official Census workers should carry a valid U.S. Census Bureau ID badge
▪The Census Bureau will NOT call or text asking for Social Security numbers, bank information, passwords or payments
▪If something feels suspicious, do not provide personal information
