Free 2 Teach Students need supplies to learn. Teachers need tools to teach. Our community needs young people to drive our future.

Free 2 Teach provides free school supplies to public school teachers in Madison and Limestone County, Alabama, by mobilizing the community to ensure every child has access to an excellent education. Free 2 Teach is the connection point for these needs. We connect our teachers with a multitude of resources including traditional school supplies, office supplies, math and science resources, craft ite

ms, room décor, books, furniture and more. Free 2 Teach provides free resources to teachers in Madison County’s three public school systems. These resources are available to more than 3,800 full-time classroom teachers and their 52,000 students, improving the educational experience of our children and strengthening our community’s future workforce. Free 2 Teach is committed to easing the personal financial burden of teachers. Did you know that teachers spend between five-hundred and fifteen-hundred dollars of their own money every year to buy supplies for their students and classrooms? Each teacher who shops at the Free 2 Teach store leaves with an average of $400 in free classroom resources. We are grateful to be able to give back to our community’s teachers in a very tangible way. We applaud their passion for doing this important work and look forward to supporting them as they continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and our community. This past school year you helped us give away 40,875 books, including hundreds of books sets! This is only possible because of donations from across our community. We are so thankful.

If you have gently used books we would love them. Bring them by 3054 Leeman Ferry Rd, Suite F. Over the summer we are open weekdays from 8am-3pm!

We are so thankful that Madison County, Alabama-Government Commission Chairman Rex Vaughn stopped by the warehouse today to learn more about what the Commission's funding and partnership means for our teachers.

In just the past two school years alone, we have invested $3,470,486.50 in the County, filling up 8,685 carts of teachers from Madison City Schools Madison County Schools, Huntsville City Schools.

Our partnership with the Commission helps us ensure we can keep our lights on and shelves stocked to make a difference. We are very thankful for their strategic and significant support!

We were so grateful to be a part of Founder's Month at Turner MidSouth this year! We are so grateful for their support in building kits for the Healthy Kids program. Last school year, the program expanded with new hygiene kits, and over 8,000 kits were distributed to teachers in Madison and Limestone county. Turner's support helps to ensure that the program will continue to deliver key hygiene and health items to teachers across North Alabama in the next school year!

THIS Saturday is the 2nd Annual After School Bash to support Free 2 Teach in partnership with the Huntsville Police Department!!!

Join us from 4-8pm in Big Spring Park for a free evening of family fun - live music, raffles, “Pack the Patrol Car” with supplies 🚔✏️, and interactive displays of equipment!!
