Wilkinson Insurance Services suffered a devastating loss Tuesday morning. Founder and president of WIS, Chris Wilkinson, succumbed to his 2.5 year battle with brain cancer.
Chris was a pillar in the premium insurance audit industry and a widely respected leader amongst his peers. He founded the company in 1993 with the goal of providing the highest quality information services to the insurance industry – and that still remains the goal to this day.
While we will miss his presence, we’ll carry with us his professional values and traits as well as some great memories. During his career, Chris amassed an incredible team that holds the same high standards of integrity and work ethic that he displayed throughout his tenure. And while Chris has been in an advisory role in the past year, the company continued to flourish…and that’s exactly what we plan to keep doing.
Chris greatly valued his professional relationships throughout the premium audit industry – many of those he referred to simply as a friend. He always mentioned that doing business is easier when you genuinely enjoy those whom you work with.
