Most mortgage companies don't let you near their underwriting team.

You get a loan officer. Maybe a processor. And a portal that tells you the file is "in review."

We brought our SVP of Underwriting, Shari Brandenburg, to Huntsville to sit in a room with Realtors and teach.

Not a sales call. Not a lunch-and-learn with a branded agenda. An actual class — what underwriters look for, what kills deals at the wire, how to position your buyers before the file ever gets submitted.

That's not a normal thing for a mortgage company to do. Most treat underwriting like a black box. We treat it like a competitive advantage — for our agents as much as our team.
