As we celebrate Veterans Day, let's continue to recognize the courage, sacrifice, and commitment of our Veterans and their families.

Their service has protected the freedoms and opportunities that define our way of life.

Thank you for your dedication and the example you've set in leadership, resilience, and service to others.

I'd also like to honor my husband, Tom Keene, who served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, and my younger brother, Matthew Shihadeh, who served in the U.S. Marines. Matt led his squadron in kicking off Operation Iraqi Freedom and flew 38 combat missions. I am incredibly thankful for their courage and service to our country.
