Prior to Edward Jones, I served in the Marine Corps for nearly 17 years as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician achieving the Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal designation, before taking full early retirement. During that time, I served two combat tours in 2011 and 2013 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and a non-combat tour as member of the Georgia Training Team Rotation 8 in the cou
ntry of Georgia training the 22nd Georgian Infantry Battalion as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. Additionally, I served in the role as an instructor for three years at the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal located in Florida. During my time in the military, attention to detail was a critical element in identifying and mitigating the risk of explosive devices. I believe that utilizing that same level of discipline will allow me to better serve my clients and protect their financial goals. I currently live in Athens, Alabama, with my wonderful wife, Joann, and two daughters, Sora and Alea. I chose to come back to my hometown in order to give back to the community that I grew up in and help make a difference with those concerned about their financial futures. Outside of the office, my family and I enjoy fishing, boating and going on new and exciting adventures. With the help of the firm and its professional and technological resources always supporting my office, I hope to work with you to help you reach your long-term financial goals.
