I had the opportunity to hear Alfa’s president, Jimmy Parnell, speak yesterday. He was asked about marketing and the fact that many other insurance companies air far more commercials than Alfa.

His response was:
“At Alfa, we spend our dollars taking care of our customers and taking care of our company. The best commercial we can have is one customer sharing their Alfa experience with another because hopefully we treated them right and took good care of them.”

I am clearly no marketing expert, but I really liked this answer.

It might not be saved on your calendar, but May 2nd is National Life Insurance day! Though you may not be celebrating, it does serve as a great reminder of how important this protection is.

In the latest 2023 Insurer Report Card, Alfa Insurance ranks 4th for best auto insurers in the country and 1st in Alabama!

The Crash Network report reads:
“To provide consumers a tool they can use when choosing an auto insurer, CRASH Network asks collision repairers each year to grade insurance companies based on one simple question: “How well does this company's claims handling policies, attitude and payment practices ensure quality repairs and customer service for motorists?”

The survey found that when it comes to auto insurers, bigger may not be better. Looking at just the 10 largest companies – well-known and widely-advertised brands – none of them ranked even among the top 40 in this year's survey rankings.”
