As you may know October 15th thru December 7th is the Annual Election period for Medicare recipients. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT MEDICARE DOES NOT MAKE OUT GOING CALLS NOR DOES MEDICARE ALLOW AGENTS TO COLD CALL ANY MEDICARE ELIGIBLE PERSON FOR MEDICARE ADVANTAGE OR PRESCRIPTION DRUG COVERAGES.
Please call our Agency or your trusted agent for information regarding 2026 Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug plans. Use your local agents for your information and service and avoid calling any of the TV ads because all Medicare plans are based on state, county, and zip codes.

Due to some circumstances such as Covid and increases in Social Security incomes people who have Medicaid have been losing that coverage recently. Losing coverage allows you a Special Election to enroll in alternative health care for you and your family. I urge you to talk with a local agent or to contact HEALTHCARE.GOV for the Affordable Care Plans. Please be aware that there are bad apples in all fields so calling toll free numbers and doing an on line search could have you biting into a worm.
If you have Medicare and are losing Medicaid please contact your local agent or MEDICARE.GOV to see look at your options.
Remember Social Security and Medicare do not make outgoing phone calls as a practice and any website that does not end in .GOV is not an official government website so be cautious when searching for plans.

As you may know January thru March is called the Open Enrollment Period for Medicare Advantage members. Medicare allows this in order for MA enrolled people to change their plan one time if they wish.
Medicare rules prohibit soliciting during this period as well as all year long. Medicare and Social Security do not do outbound calls to anyone unless you have a scheduled appointment.

I share this information just to remind you that calls from someone who is not your agent or your company should be ignored.

Also be careful when searching websites, Medicare.gov and SSA.gov are the only official websites for Medicare or Social Security that should be used.

I hope these tidbits help you or someone you know avoid being scammed or enrolled in a plan that is detrimental to their healthcare.

Having recently been eligible for Medicare myself and working with others who have aged in as well you should be aware that obtaining your Medicare card is not an automatic process.
If you have not received your card 3 months prior to your 65th birthday then you should call your local Social Security office, call them @ 1-800-772-1213, or go online .gov to apply.

If you have any questions we can help lead you in the right direction. We aren’t Medicare representatives but we understand the different processes that you may need to use in order to obtain your Medicare card.

We offer no network required health insurance that in most cases have no deductible either. I own it myself and can testify that it is much better than having a high deductible network plan.
