Is it time to say goodbye to ‘smart’ technology and hello and trust again in ‘smart’ humans? Well take your pick.
Whether you like it or you hate it, AI is here. Schools are teaching children at the grade school level how to code because of the advances in technology and the lack of the adults who could have made a difference in the past.
Meanwhile parking meters are glitching, elevators need repair, out of service signs are everywhere, and many manufacturers have been left with no choice but to shut down.
On the flipside, just imagine how struggling artists and graphic designers must feel. Are they using technology as a renaissance of the arts? What about authors? Could this be the breakthrough for creative writing to come to life faster and more grammatically correct than ever? Are writers embracing the idea or intimidated by the concept of somehow being replaced?
Or are they all just so frantically in distress about the possibilities of identity theft when meanwhile most of your information is already fueling the economy and the databases of private companies like the credit bureaus yet have you done anything about it?
Could the chaos be merely a time of innovation repeating history? Consumers all over are panicking or raving about AI but what are your thoughts?
To be fair, consider every angle and context if you dare to expand your perspective and knowledge. If not so be it.
One thing we know for sure is that AI was programmed by humans but it could never replace the human to human experience.
As a former coder and programmer myself, I believe that AI can be used for good or evil like everything else in life.
Technology has brought a lot truth to blind eyes but also chaos in the hands of those who abuse trust of their consumers. In any case, not all are meant to see or believe.
So ask yourself, without AI or technology, would accept your humanity? Could you embrace the flaws? Maybe you could if you’re not a robot or the notion of God. Maybe that is the big lesson behind it all. What do you choose to believe?
