In the News: Los Angeles “luxury” apartment complex slammed for ignoring persistent mold and water damage.

"Park La Brea, which boasts knock-down rental prices for as low as $2,000 for a studio, actually has numerous issues, such as flooding, mold, plumbing, and problems with the HVAC, renters claim.

The site, made up of 4,000 units in 18 tower blocks next to The Grove, was built in 1951 and is in dire need of updating, the residents argue.

'It’s been incredibly frustrating,' resident Karimah Aledelbi told KTLA. “We had some issues that caused severe damage in our neighbor’s unit, which resulted in, at this stage now, I think it’s been 10 or 11 weeks without a shower.' "
