Maryland FAMLI is here — and if you're an employer, this decision is on you. You have until November 15th to declare your intent: private plan or state plan.

Registering with the state automatically enrolls you in the state plan. If you'd rather go private, a licensed agent completes your DOI form on your behalf.

If you haven't started, here's what to tackle now:
✅ Gather your employee data for private plan quotes — gender, annual wages, DOB, and work state
✅ Identify your Authorized Officer — the only person who can register your business or sign a private plan application
✅ Compare state vs. private plans, if you haven't already
