Key 2026/2027 Crop Insurance Deadlines
Sales Closing Dates (Apply/Change Coverage):
March 15: General sales closing for many spring-planted crops.
Sept 30: Sales closing for winter wheat.
Acreage Reporting Dates:
May 15: Oats.
July 15: Corn, Soybeans, Cotton, Grain Sorghum, and many other spring-planted crops.
Nov 15: Pasture, Rangeland, Forage (PRF).
Other Key Dates:
Production Reporting Date: Usually 45 days after the policy cancellation date.
