We are pleased to announce that the 2027 WCBA Summer Baseball and Winter Workout Registration is NOW OPEN!

This year there will be a difference in the fact that the Summer Baseball and Winter Workout will be separate registrations, you will not be required to pay for Winter Workouts if you only want to participate in Summer Baseball. Along with that, Winter Workouts will be open to all West Central School District players, not just those registered in the WCBA.

Winter Workouts we are still working to secure the best facility for what we will need. A piece of feedback that we received last year was to have a weekday and a weekend session to make it easier for families to attend one or both sessions. We will be exploring that option and will be dependent on practice facility availability. Winter workouts will start in January and run through March.

Registration links, and information, is available on our homepage, https://www.westcentralbaseball.org/.

2027 WCBA Summer Baseball regular registration deadline will be 12/31/2026, after that the fee will go up by $50.00 and final deadline will be 02/28/2027.

2027 Winter Workout Session regular registration deadline will be 11/30/2026 and be $100, after that the fee will go up to $150 with final registration deadline being 12/31/2026.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you and we look forward to a great 2027.

Annual WCBA Board Meeting tonight at 6:00pm at the Humboldt Community Center. Here is the agenda, will also be Facebook Live.

09/17/2026

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who took the time to attend our feedback meeting, complete a survey, and share your thoughts about the future of WCBA Baseball. We were excited to have approximately 55 participants join us in person and online, and we received 88 survey responses. Your input was invaluable and played a major role in helping us shape our vision for the 2027 season.

After carefully reviewing all of the feedback and suggestions, we have finalized our plans for the 2027 WCBA Summer Baseball Season. We have put together a document outlining everything you need to know, including coaching opportunities, registrations, winter workouts, registration timelines, player assessments, team and roster formation, and our updated approach to supporting Tournament/Travel Teams.

We recognize that every family and player has different goals, and while no single plan will meet everyone's preferences, we believe these changes create more opportunities and flexibility for all participants. Our goal is to ensure that every player has a place within WCBA, whether they are looking to enjoy recreational baseball with friends or are interested in competing as part of a Tournament/Travel Team while benefiting from the support and sponsorship of the association.

We are excited about the future of WCBA Baseball and look forward to continuing to provide a positive and rewarding experience for our players and families. Thank you for your ongoing support, feedback, and commitment to helping our program grow and succeed.

WCBA held an informational meeting on Sunday, August 23, and we had a great turnout both in person and viewers online. This meeting was to discuss how the 2027 baseball season should look and put together.

From this meeting, we have collected the feedback and have come up with a few different options and are looking for your feedback on how you would like to see things put together.

Below is a link to a survey for you to rank how you would like the season to look like. We would ask that anyone that has a child that is of age to play in the West Central Baseball Association, and is interested in potentially playing, to fill out the survey. If you do not have a child that is of age to play in West Central Baseball, or you do not have an interest in joining the association, we ask that you refrain from taking the survey.

Please take the survey for each individual child that would qualify to play baseball with the association. If you have already taken the survey from emails that were sent out to existing association members, thank you for doing that, no need to take a second time.

As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to a board member or email at [email protected]

Below is the survey to gain the feedback on how people would like to see the 2027 Season Structured. The form survey is optional; however, this will help us make important decisions on how to form the 2027 WCBA Baseball Season. Please submit an individual survey for each player as your option could....
