Last week, we talked about Dwelling coverage—but what about the structures on your property that aren't attached to your home?
That's where Other Structures comes in!
Other Structures refers to the amount of coverage you have for structures on your property that are separate from your home. This may include things like a detached garage, storage shed, fence, or gazebo.
So, when you're looking at your homeowners policy:
🏠 Dwelling = Your home and attached structures
🔨 Other Structures = Structures separate from your home
As always, coverage is subject to the specific terms, conditions, and limits of your policy.
Have questions about what the numbers on your homeowners policy mean? Give our office a call—we'd be happy to help!
