Medicare & GLP-1 Medications: A New Option

Starting July 1, 2026, CMS launched a new program that may help some Medicare beneficiaries access certain GLP-1 medications for weight management.

Here are the details:

⭐️ Eligible medications include Wegovy®, Foundayo®, and certain Zepbound® KwikPen® formulations

⭐️ Eligible participants pay $50 per month

⭐️ The program runs through December 31, 2027

⭐️ Your doctor must determine if you qualify and submit the required authorization

⭐️ This is a CMS program, not a Medicare Advantage or Part D plan benefit, but you must be enrolled in Part D to be eligible.

Christmas came a little early in Hughesville!

Yesterday, the businesses of the Greater Hughesville Business Association came together to host a fun-filled Christmas in July Parade for our community. Santa was seen cruising down the route in a beautiful pontoon boat from Hall's Marine and Krehling Insurance was honored to serve as the host location for the GHBA food & trinket stand at our new office located at 93 Main Street in Hughesville!

Throughout the week leading up to the parade, our community came together in an incredible way by donating toys and toothbrushes for Meagan’s Box, a local charity in our neighborhood. The outpouring of generosity will help bring smiles and comfort to children who need it most.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, donated, participated, waved along the parade route, and helped make the event such a success. We are proud to be part of a community that shows up for one another.

We are already looking forward to our Holiday Giveaway celebration in December… stay tuned!! 🎄
