LIF’s first project worked with the Jenin Freedom Theatre to document their Freedom Bus Ride through the Occupied West Bank, Palestine. In the years following, LIF primarily concentrated on labor movement communications and photojournalism with Black Lives Matter, Palestinian Liberation, US-Mexico Border Solidarity, and Fight for $15. In 2015, LIF began shifting toward a model that combines photog
raphy, multi-media and organizing to increase the capacity of movements, communities, and organizations to tell their own stories in creative ways. Since then, LIF has begun developing a collective of photographers and media makers to further its’ work. LIF photos have appeared in Alternet.org, ElectronicIntifada.net, Colorlines.com, WagingNonviolence.org, Mondoweiss.net, and PopularResistance.org, among other outlets. LIF has collaborated with: The Jenin Freedom Theatre, No More Deaths, Fight For $15, Students for Justice in Palestine, Community Change, Akicita Teca, Oglala Youth And Tribal Entertainment Media Network (OYATE), We The People of Detroit, The People’s Water Board, City Life Vida Urbana, Jewish Voice For Peace, Unite Here!
