A lot of personal property claims land on an attorney’s desk before they ever had a real chance to be built correctly.

No documentation.
No real inventory.
No valuation strategy.
No pressure applied in the right places.

They’re sent to litigation not because they’re complex, but because they were never properly handled in the first place.

And I want to say this clearly:
I work with attorneys who recognize that. Attorneys who are ethical enough to say, “This claim doesn’t need litigation yet. It needs to be properly adjusted.”

Those attorneys send the insured to me. And that is exactly how it should work.

Because many claims don’t need court pressure… they need professional claim handling.

That’s where I come in.

I build the claim before it becomes a lawsuit. I take chaos and turn it into a file that is structured, supported, and defensible.

To attorneys:
I’m not here to replace your role. I’m here to strengthen it. When a personal property claim truly belongs in your hands, it should arrive built, clean, and ready to be enforced.

When a file is documented correctly and valued properly, carriers move differently.
Conversations change.
Timelines change.
Outcomes change.

Claims shouldn’t go to attorneys because they’re broken.
They should go after the claim has been given a fair chance to resolve.

Nothing is “too big” and nothing is “too small” in this line of work.

I’ve handled business personal property claims where the recovery exceeded $8.6 million, and I’ve handled renters policies capped at $29,000. The size of the policy doesn’t change the standard of care. The process, the precision, and the advocacy should always be the same.

To contractors:
I’m not here to rewrite your scopes or step on your work. You write the structure, I defend it. I handle the personal property side in a way that protects the claim, protects the insured, and supports the rebuild without creating friction. My goal is to make your job easier, not harder.

To attorneys:
I build files that are clean, defensible, and well documented. Strong inventories, proper valuation, and coverage backed arguments create leverage. Whether a case settles early or needs escalation, the foundation matters.

I specialize in personal property because that’s where claims are most often underpaid, rushed, or misunderstood. From high value commercial losses to small renters claims, if someone needs help, Im here to help. Every file gets the same attention, structure, and respect.

Claims don’t need more noise.
They need accuracy, consistency, and someone willing to do the unglamorous work right.

Personal property isn’t “just stuff.”
It’s thousands of individual items that each need to be evaluated correctly.

When claims are handled quickly, they’re often handled loosely.
When they’re handled loosely, value gets missed.

Accuracy takes time.
But accuracy is what protects recovery.

Precision matters. Details determine dollars.

Insurance claims work best when everyone stays in the right role.
Contractor + Public Adjuster 🤝

Your contractor’s job is to inspect the damage and write a detailed, justified scope for what it actually takes to rebuild your home.

Your rebuild funds are meant to rebuild your home.
They should not be diverted to pay someone else to do the contractor’s job. If your contractor cannot properly scope their own work, that is a contractor issue, not an insurance requirement.

Where professional claim support truly adds value is in applying policy language to a contractor’s justified scope when the insurance company pushes back, and in ensuring the scope is paid correctly under the policy.

Personal property is different.
That part of a claim requires detailed documentation, valuation, and policy application and it is often where homeowners lose the most money when it’s not handled properly.

Understanding who does what in a claim helps homeowners protect both their rebuild and their overall settlement.

Clarity early makes a lasting difference.

Clean scopes protect clean rebuilds.

Contractors should write and justify the structural scope.
Public adjusting should never dilute rebuild funds — it should support the scope with proper policy application and handle detailed personal property documentation.

When everyone stays in their lane, homeowners win and projects move forward cleaner.

If your contents list says “assorted household items”
you’re probably underpaid.
That language means details were skipped.

Personal property should be itemized by category, quantity, and quality.
When items are grouped together, important differences in value are often lost.

Details determine dollars.

A lot of restoration companies and contractors have followed me recently, so I want to be clear about how I work.

I’m a licensed Public Adjuster, but I stay in a very specific lane.

• I charge 0% on structure
• Contractors write the structural scope — always
• I support that scope with policy language when carriers push back
• I handle personal property documentation completely, which is where most claims break down

My role isn’t to compete with contractors — it’s to make sure justified work doesn’t get cut and contents doesn’t stall the claim.

If you’re ever on a loss where contents are becoming a problem or the carrier is pushing back on scope, I’m happy to step in and support.

Strong documentation + clear policy application protects everyone involved.

Insurance claims aren’t simple math — but they shouldn’t feel like a magic trick either.

Depreciation, exclusions, scope decisions — none of it should be vague.

If the numbers don’t make sense, it’s usually because something wasn’t fully evaluated, documented, or applied correctly.
And that’s where homeowners quietly lose money.

Small decisions made early can have permanent financial consequences.

You don’t have to know everything.
You just need to slow down, ask questions, and make sure decisions are supported by your policy — not pressure or assumptions.

Education is one of the strongest forms of advocacy.

If your contents list says “miscellaneous clothing,”
you’re probably underpaid.

Clothing is one of the most commonly undervalued categories in a fire claim.

Brands, materials, age, and use all matter.

What isn’t detailed…
isn’t defended.

For most homeowners, the real loss isn’t the structure.

Rebuilding a home restores walls, floors, and fixtures — but it doesn’t replace the life that was inside it. Personal property, daily routines, comfort, and the sense of normalcy are often what people feel the absence of most after a loss.

Insurance policies treat structure and contents very differently. While structural repairs are usually handled through contractors and standardized scopes, personal property requires detailed documentation, valuation, and follow-through — and it’s where value is most commonly overlooked.

When personal property isn’t handled thoroughly, homeowners are left replacing essential items out of pocket, long after the rebuild is complete.

Understanding this distinction matters, because restoring a house isn’t the same as restoring a home.

For most homeowners, what’s inside matters just as much — if not more — than the walls around it.
