Trying to start over with a 520 credit score?
Here’s exactly what I would do to hit 750 in 3 months 👇
Step 1: Pull ALL 3 credit reports (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion).
You need to see EVERYTHING that’s holding you back.
Step 2: Clean up your personal info.
Old addresses, wrong names—anything outdated that’s tied to negative accounts… remove it.
Step 3: Make a hit list.
Every collection, charge-off, and negative account needs to be attacked with dispute letters ASAP.
Step 4: Build your case.
Don’t go back and forth—use laws, violations, and documentation to make them respect your dispute.
Step 5: Escalate if needed.
Go straight to CFPB. When they see that involved, things move FAST.
Step 6: Remove hard inquiries.
Dispute them AND follow up with the bureaus to push faster deletions.
Step 7: Add positive accounts.
Rental Kharma, Self, credit builder accounts—stack good payment history.
Step 8: Fix your utilization.
Pay cards down or increase limits. Aim for 1–10% usage (this is where big points come from).
Step 9: Use authorized user tradelines.
10+ year accounts with perfect history = BIG score jump.
Step 10: Stay plugged in.
Join a community, mentorship, or people that actually know what they’re doing.
This is the blueprint—but most people don’t execute it correctly.
