Job Opportunity: Candidate Attorney
Location: George, Western Cape

A well-established and dynamic law firm in George is seeking a motivated Candidate Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven LLB graduate to kick-start their legal career with hands-on experience, structured mentorship, and meaningful exposure to courtroom practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal opinions, memoranda, and correspondence
- Assist with the drafting of pleadings, contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Liaise professionally with clients, counsel, and external stakeholders
- Attend client consultations and accurately record instructions
- Support the full litigation process, including case preparation, court filings, and trial readiness
- Attend court proceedings (where permitted) alongside senior legal professionals
- Maintain and organise case files and documentation to the highest standard
- Ensure strict compliance with court rules, deadlines, and regulatory requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed LLB degree
- Strong academic record
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)
