Last week our team showed up big at Houston-Galveston Area Council's Economic Impact Summit. Nasr Khan joined a panel on funding trends, economic development and benefits of different types of loans. Farhan Durrani judged the pitch competition, cheering on local entrepreneurs making their case. Arturo Franco also attended the event, connecting and networking with fellow small business owners and attendees throughout the day.

Wallis Bank is proud to share the results of our Annual Kids' Meals Juice Box Drive! Our Sugar Land, Meadows, Galleria, Pasadena & Northwest branches joined forces this year & together, we raised a record amount for Kids' Meals, Inc. Today, we delivered over $1,000 worth of juice boxes and a $4,000 check to support their mission of feeding children across the Houston area who lack access to school lunches. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared & helped us surpass our goal this year.

All summer long, our customers & employees came together for our annual school supply drive, and today we got to deliver the results! We dropped off over $6,000 worth of backpacks, shoes, pencils & more to Terrace Elementary in Houston, helping local students start the school year ready to learn.
