We're Hiring: Assistant Account Manager – Commercial Insurance:
Have a valid Texas Property and Casualty license with 1–2 years of experience and feel like you're ready for more?
We're looking for an Assistant Account Manager who has learned the basics of insurance and is ready to develop new skills, take on more responsibility, and build a career in Commercial Insurance. Work alongside our Account Managers & gain hands-on experience with the entire commercial insurance account-management process.
What You'll Do
• Answer incoming client calls and connect clients with the right team member.
• Issue Certificates of Insurance.
• Order and follow up on loss runs.
• Assist with renewal and new-business submissions and proposals.
• Handle claim intake and follow-up.
• Request and follow up on endorsements.
• Quote through carrier online portals when assigned.
• Assist with billing questions, payment follow-up, and cancellation notices when assigned.
• Maintain accurate client information and documentation.
• Help Account Managers and Account Executives keep deadlines, client requests, and outstanding items moving.
And There's a Creative Side...
We also want someone who enjoys social media and content creation:
• Take photos and short-form videos.
• Create and edit reels, graphics, and posts.
• Brainstorm fun, humorous, educational, and relatable content.
• Show the professional—and human—side of our agency.
Who We're Looking For
A valid insurance license with 1–2 years of experience, preferably in Commercial Lines or an independent agency. More importantly, someone who:
• Is organized & detail-oriented.
• Takes ownership and follows through.
• Communicates professionally with clients and carriers.
• Can handle time-sensitive client conversations.
• Likes helping teammates and isn't afraid to ask questions.
• Wants to understand insurance—not just process paperwork.
• Comfortable learning new systems and technology.
Where Can This Role Lead?
Our goal isn't to hire someone who stays an “assistant” forever. We're looking for someone who wants to learn, contribute, be creative, and build upon their career.
