// Elements for an Alter (2024) by Louise Despont transforms fragments of antique books and paper into richly layered collages that feel both archaeological and deeply contemporary. Thoughtfully composed and full of quiet symbolism, these works invite viewers to discover new details with every look—bringing history, materiality, and imagination into dialogue within the space.
