The best career advice I ever got wasn’t about money. It was about people.

At one point, I was working on my CFP and questioning where I belonged in this industry.
Then a mentor told me something I’ll never forget:

“You care too much about the client not to be an advisor.”

That hit hard. Not because it was about a career. Because it was about purpose.

I had spent years focused on:
→ investments
→ markets
→ strategies
→ performance

Then I realized something. The real work isn’t the portfolio.

It’s the person sitting across the table, helping someone retire with confidence, guiding a family through uncertainty, and being there when life doesn’t go according to plan.

The numbers matter, sure. The impact matters MORE.

That’s when I finally understood what my dad had been doing all those years.
He wasn’t managing money…he was helping people live better lives.
