🚨 Kevin Durant is set to secure a massive 24,000% return on his early venture capital bet following Nvidia’s reported $12.9 billion acquisition of AI/ML developer platform Hugging Face.

‘The NBA superstar initially put $100,000 into Hugging Face’s seed round before committing an additional $150,000 during its Series A raise. With the landmark buyout, that collective $250,000 investment is projected to deliver an enormous windfall of over $60 million.

The massive win adds to an already extensive portfolio managed through Durant’s dedicated family office, 35V. Alongside his business ventures, 35V has deployed capital into more than 100 companies spanning technology, media, consumer products, and sports—backing notable names including Coinbase, Robinhood, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Whoop, Rubrik, Mercury, and Postmates.

The multi-million dollar AI payout comes on top of Durant’s lucrative on-court resume. In addition to the $60 million Hugging Face return, Durant is slated to earn $90 million under his two-year contract with the Houston Rockets, pushing his total NBA career earnings beyond the $500 million threshold.’
