Proceeds of the loan will be used in the start-up of a new, minority-owned personal protective equipment manufacturing business in Houston, TX. This business will focus on the manufacturing of American-made, high-quality PPE to be sold to supply house distributors, hospitals, industrial painters, and more. The opening of this business will generate three new job opportunities in the Houston area. Waterstone LSP is pleased to announce the closing of an SBA 7(a) loan in the amount of $747,000 for the Houston office of a partner bank headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA. Proceeds of the loan will provide financing to remodel an existing building in Richmond, TX that is currently in operations as a children’s gymnastics, dance, and tumbling school. The renovations will allow for additional classes to take place to accommodate the continued growth in their business. The gym currently employs 40 individuals, and funding of this loan will generate an additional 15 job opportunities within the business in addition to supporting the jobs of the contractors, suppliers and vendors associated with this expansion. Proceeds from the loan will finance the acquisition of an existing, full-service automated car wash in Lakewood, OH by a new business entity formed for the acquisition. Proceeds of the loan will finance the construction of a vehicle storage facility in Zavalla, TX to provide convenient and secure storage for the boat and RV owners near Lake Sam Rayburn. The facility will have 20 open lots, 26 fully enclosed units and 15 partially enclosed units. Not only will the loan finance the start-up of this new business, but it will support numerous jobs with contractors, suppliers, and vendors in Zavalla and its surrounding communities. Proceeds of this loan will be used in the acquisition of commercial real estate in Midland, TX to be used by a manufacturing business that specializes in the prevention of oil spills. Waterstone LSP is pleased to announce the closing of a new SBA 7(a) loan in the amount of $4,500,000 as part of a $6 million financing package for a partner bank headquartered in Dallas, TX. Proceeds of the loan will be used in the acquisition of an existing hotel property operating in Tempe, AZ by a minority-owned new business formed for the acquisition. Not only will the loan fund the acquisition of the property, but it will provide working capital for the transition period during the change of ownership. Under new ownership the business will be owner managed, eliminating a third-party management company and creating 11 new jobs within the Tempe community. Happy Anniversary to Waterstone LSP. 10 years ago Anthony and I had a plan and a clear vision on how we wanted to deliver LSP assistance to community banks in SBA 7a lending. We made a small investment and with a lot of hard work, we built something we are not only proud of, but is beyond anything we could have imagined. As of September 30th, we have already achieved our best year. We appreciate every lender, small business applicant and fellow service providers we have had the pleasure to work with for the past 10 years. Special thanks to Luis, Esther, Krystall, Elaina, Jordan, Chris, Cameron and Chloe who work hard and help make this a great place to work.
