Stocks finished the third quarter mixed. The S&P 500 gained 2.03%, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 2.47%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 2.70%. Halloween is next on the calendar, with U.S. consumers expected to spend \$13.5 billion USD this year and 6.26 million Canadian children in their trick-or-treating years.

Stocks were mixed in the third quarter as economic, geopolitical, and corporate earnings news pushed the broad market higher while weighing on the Dow Industrials.

No woman should be a stranger to her finances. Molly joins the Divorce Attorney Holly Draper on the Texas Family Lawyers Podcast to discuss financial confidence, life transitions, and the importance of having a seat at the table when financial decisions are made.

How often do we leave financial decisions to someone else because life is simply busy?

Before we know it, we can become strangers to our own finances.

That's why I was excited to join the Texas Family Lawyers Podcast for a conversation about financial engagement, navigating life's transitions, and why every woman deserves to have confidence in the financial decisions that affect her future.

You don't have to be a financial expert. But you do deserve to understand your financial life, ask questions, and have a voice in the decisions being made.

At Well Lived Wealth, our mission is to help women feel seen, supported, and confident in their financial lives, and this conversation touches on many of the reasons that mission matters.

We'd love for you to watch the interview and share your thoughts below. See the video at www.WellLivedWealth under the Media Section.

❤️ What's one thing you wish every woman knew about her finances?

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of gathering with clients who are approaching Medicare enrollment for an educational Medicare Workshop featuring Medicare specialist Eileen Westbrook.

The Medicare process can feel overwhelming, with enrollment deadlines, coverage choices, and plenty of fine print. Our goal was simple: create a comfortable space to ask questions, learn from an expert, and gain confidence about the decisions ahead.

Molly also shared why Medicare decisions should be considered alongside your broader financial plan. Healthcare coverage choices can affect retirement income, out-of-pocket expenses, and long-term financial confidence, making it important that all the pieces work together.

At Well Lived Wealth, we believe that confidence comes from understanding, and that some of the best learning happens in community. We are grateful to Eileen for sharing her expertise and to everyone who joined us for such a thoughtful discussion.

Because a well-lived retirement isn't built on guesswork. It's built on informed decisions and a plan that supports the life you want to live. 💙

Still thinking about the conversations from last week's Strangers to Owners Book Discussion Tea at Bar Madonna.

Thank you to special guest, Family Law Attorney Ashley Scott, and everyone who joined us for an afternoon of thoughtful discussion, meaningful connection, and plenty of inspiration.

One theme that resonated throughout the conversation was that we shouldn't be strangers to our finances. At Well Lived Wealth, we believe women deserve to feel seen, supported, and confident in their financial lives. That starts with being engaged, asking questions, and understanding the financial decisions that shape your future.

If you've been leaving the financial conversations to someone else, consider this your invitation to pull up a chair. Ask questions. Understand your plan. Know what you own and why. You don't have to become an expert overnight, but you do deserve a seat at the table.

Because sometimes the most important thing we can do is start a conversation.

🎉The BIG Reveal - Session three in the Well Lived Wealth Way
This is the moment everything starts to make sense.

The Big Reveal is where we connect the dots, uncover opportunities, and transform financial overwhelm into a clear path forward.

No jargon. No judgment. Just practical strategies, personalized recommendations, and plenty of "why didn't I do this sooner?" moments.

✨ Clarity. ✨ Confidence. ✨ A plan you can actually follow.

Because wealth isn't about having all the answers. It's about knowing your next step.

Markets pushed higher in August as AI-driven optimism helped investors look past softer economic data. The S&P 500 gained 2.62% and the S&P/TSX Composite rose 2.96%, even as softening retail sales kept consumer spending in focus. Back-to-school season adds another data point to that story, with spending expected to reach \$146.8 billion in the U.S. and \$4.5 billion in Canada this year.

The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index advanced 2.62 percent, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 3.93 percent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lagged, adding 1.34 percent. The S&P/TSX rose 2.96 percent.1,2
