A large deposit or account transfer doesn’t automatically mean there’s a problem. It may simply require an explanation and a clear paper trail.

Before moving money, accepting a financial gift, or making a large deposit during the mortgage process, talk to your loan officer first. A little preparation can help prevent unnecessary questions and delays.
