You make $200,000+ a year... so why does it still feel like you're not getting ahead?

For many high-income earners, more income does not automatically mean more wealth.

Higher taxes. Concentrated stock positions. Deferred compensation decisions. Retirement accounts. Cash flow that looks strong on paper but still feels inefficient.

The question is not how much you make. It's how much you're actually keeping.

Join Jamie Elrod from Flipping The Barrel, and Alexis Long, MBA, CFP®, our Managing Director of Wealth Management for a live conversation and Q&A on strategies high-income earners can use to think more intentionally about tax efficiency, wealth building, and long-term planning: https://hubs.li/Q04hG6jQ0

If you're thinking about leaving BP, timing matters.

A retirement date is not just a calendar decision. It can impact taxes, benefit payouts, pension strategy, and long-term planning.

We've seen transitions triggered by retirement, severance, reorganizations, and new opportunities, and the biggest question is often not why, but when.

Watch our on-demand webinar where Sarah Sikorski, CFP®, CPA/PFS, our Director of Wealth Management, covers the moving pieces BP employees should evaluate: https://hubs.li/Q04hq6Sj0

"I'm already maxing out my 401(k), so I'm good."

That's where many Dow employees stop when thinking about their financial plan for the year.

But your 401(k) may only be one piece of the opportunity. With updated 2026 contribution limits, after-tax strategies, Roth planning, and HSA benefits, some employees may have more flexibility than they realize.

The bigger question is: are you making the most of everything available to you? There's so many pieces that interconnect that many professionals overlook.

Yahoo Finance recently featured our firm's rebrand story, and we're honored to see this milestone recognized.

After two weeks into our transition to Willis Johnson Wealth, the response has been a meaningful reminder that while our name has evolved, the heart of what we do remains the same.

For over 30 years, we've helped clients navigate increasingly complex financial decisions, and this next chapter reflects that evolution: a brand that more clearly represents the integrated, forward-looking advice our clients have come to expect.

Lately, we've been meeting people feeling nervous about potential layoffs and what happens if a severance package lands in their inbox.

The stress usually is not just about the job change. It's the questions that come with it.

How does the pension work?
What are my options?
What happens with taxes?

HR can explain the package and what's being offered, but they're typically prevented from providing guidance on how it intersects with your financial planning and tax situation. This is where many people start feeling stuck.

Recently, we brought the team together for our quarterly meeting to reflect, align, and share what's ahead.

As the team continues to grow, we also made time to connect through some fun games such as "this or that'' and thumball, learning more about each other beyond the day-to-day.

Additionally, we shared client stories that serve as a reminder of the impact behind the work and the role we play in our clients' lives. We're grateful for this team and the care they bring to every relationship.

Being part of our clients' journeys and making a meaningful impact in their lives is what drives everything we do.

And special shout out to our Sr. Marketing Communications Manager, Jordan Lynch, for being selected as this quarter's "T in Team" award recipient, recognized by a previous honoree for embodying all of our firm's core values. 🏆

Willis Johnson & Associates is officially Willis Johnson Wealth. 🎉

This marks an important step forward for our firm after more than three decades of serving clients through some of the most complex financial decisions of their lives.

As those decisions have become more interconnected, so has the way we approach them. Financial planning, investment management, and in-house tax strategy are all part of the same process, designed to provide clarity when it matters the most.

The new name reflects that reality. So does the newly designed website, built to give a clearer, more transparent view into how this firm operates, who it serves, and what the planning process looks like in practice.

What hasn't changed is everything that built this firm in the first place. The fee-only model. The same advisory team. The fiduciary commitment to advice that is 100% in your best interest, with no commissions and no product sales.

Willis Johnson Wealth reflects who we are today and where we are headed next.
