Came across this article and thought it was a great reminder that the end goal is not having x amount saved, but the ability to spend x amount a month/year.
Having a certain amount of money in your 401k or other savings vehicle is meaningless if you don't have an idea of how much cash flow you are actually going to need to generate to maintain your lifestyle in retirement.
