UHD Financial Aid and Scholarships The UHD Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid offers a variety of financial aid programs to assist students with meeting educational costs.

The mission of The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at University of Houston Downtown is to enhance the overall quality of the student body by providing financial assistance and service to qualified students who lack the financial resources to attend UHD. Our goals are to:

--Provide financial assistance to eligible students pursuing a higher education at the University of Houston Downtown

--Provide professional and quality service to students seeking financial assistance.

--Maintain an expert knowledge base and a highly trained staff capable of assisting students to the highest level possible.

--Utilize advanced technology to provide resources and information to the students we serve.

--Strengthen communication with students and staff.

--Develop new avenues of assistance to maximize the resources available to help students.

--Be more proactive in providing information to help our students become more educated on the process of financial aid.
