Happy Friday, everyone! A huge thank you to my clients who have already responded to my Medicare emails and/or previous post here. As a friendly reminder, the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is right around the corner so get ahead of the curve by making sure all of your information is correct and up to date.

It's been a very busy month preparing for 2025 Medicare changes. EVERYONE on Medicare needs to pay extra close attention to their Annual Notice of Change and plan to speak to a licensed independent agent to go over the changes and their options.

The day has finally come where I can spill the on 2022 Medicare plans!! 🥳🥳🥳

Some of you know how hard I’ve been biting my lip because Texas — and the greater Houston area in particular — have some INCREDIBLE options this year.

As a reminder, you CANNOT make any plan changes until October 15 and you definitely need to review your coverage if you are on Medicare. Feel free to call, email, text, send a carrier pigeon or telegraph, or whatever you need to do reach me BEFORE December 7!

Also, 3 more companies (Aetna, Bright Health & UHC) will be joining the individual and family plan market come January 1, 2022 in addition to the 6 we already have so be on the lookout for that later this month, once rates are finalized.

Y’all, I’m gonna need A LOT of caffeine over the next 3 months 😅☕️

Even though the marketplace is not open for people who chose not to buy health insurance in 2020, there are special enrollment periods for who lose employer sponsored coverage due to COVID-19. GOOD NEWS for under 65 individual and family plans for the greater Houston area: 3 of the 4 carriers currently offering plans have requested slight rate DECREASES for 2020 with Ambetter requesting a slight increase. Oh, and Oscar Health is coming! Great job, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Community Health Choice & Molina Healthcare!
