While servicing hundreds of existing customers and acquiring new clients through deep broker relationships, Omar created strategic communication and technology programs for employee benefits education while servicing customer’s year-round. The EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Analyst is responsible for supporting the business community by working directly with insurance carriers and third party administrators to establish and maintain inbound and outbound EDI connections related to insurance eligibility and payroll deductions.

Candidates with experience using the Selerix BenSelect Enrollment System preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with the implementation, testing and support of inbound and outbound data connections for insurance eligibility files
Support external customers and internal processing areas by trouble shooting data issues
Act as a liaison between the business and IT
Oversee the technical efforts associated with implementing EDI trading partners
Provide HIPAA-compliant guidance to third party administrators and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements
Participate in implementation meetings with clients committed to establishing an EDI partnership
Ensure proper setup conduct necessary testing and in-depth analysis to resolve any potential issues prior to release into the production environment
Oversee the production support of existing EDI clients
Support the business with EDI issues and promptly triage and resolve EDI issues
Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the EDI processes
Prepare and maintain documentation that defines operational procedures and describes client requirements
Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal colleagues and external contacts
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Possess a clear understanding and working knowledge of HIPAA EDI protocols
Excellent written and oral communication skills, outstanding customer service skills, preferably in a technical implementation capacity
Experience managing customer and/or vendor relationships desired
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
Understanding of internet applications and networks desired
Solid knowledge of all lines of business
Great organizational skills
Detail orientated, problem solvers, self-starter
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments to meet the department timelines
Fast learner, ability and willingness to learn new products
Applies and follows all company policies and procedures
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or the equivalent combination of work experience and technical training
3+ years progressively responsible experience in a technical production or applications support role
Proficient in a scripting language, preferably javascript.

Selerix Case Builder

Role and Responsibilities

Setting up new client and building annual employee benefit program cases in Benefits Enrollment System (Selerix)
Interpret and translate project specifics, insurance plan designs, eligibility and census information
Interpret benefit plan summaries to set parameters in the enrollment platform
Configure census data for enrollment purposes
Collaborate closely with implementation teams, underwriting and sales team to effectively recognize and solve case level enrollment issues and reinforce initiatives
Record and disseminate end user feedback
Qualifications and Education Requirements

College degree preferred

Summary Directs the organization's financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions, shareholders, and other third party providers, as applicable by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversight of financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general treasury functions on a monthly basis.

• Leads annual budget process and the development of forecasts for profit centers throughout the year.

• Serve as the liaison between senior management and producers and the accounting department.

• Works with senior management to improve the profitability and growth of the Agency.

• Responds to both internal and external customer information requests in a timely manner and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Recommends modifications to existing corporate programs. Analyzes financial statements in order to point out areas that can be improved upon for recording transactions, streamlining of procedures, and ways to increase the bottom line for assigned profit centers

• Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.

• Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.

• Working experience with Quickbooks or Sage is ideal.
