Let's compare what your money actually does in each account:

Savings account:
• 4-5% APY right now (won't last)
• Interest taxed as income every year
• No protection if you die
• FDIC insured to $250K
• Accessible anytime

IUL:
• Indexed growth linked to market performance
• Floor of zero — you never lose in a down year
• Tax-free compounding inside the policy
• Death benefit protecting your family
• Cash value accessible via policy loan — no tax, no penalty
• Creditor-protected in most states

Same monthly commitment. One is a holding account. The other is a building account.

The IUL isn't better than a savings account for emergency cash you need next month. But for money you're putting away to build — there's no comparison.

As low as $40/month may get you started with a policy beginning at $100,000 — subject to approval and qualification.

Are you actually protecting your child's future, or are you just renting a temporary safety net?

Many young parents I talk to in Houston feel a sense of relief once they buy a standard term life policy. And yes, protecting your family in case of tragedy is vital.

But term life is a rented temporary sheet. When the term ends in ten, twenty, or thirty years, the policy expires. Over ninety-eight percent of term policies never pay out.

That is why smart parents look at their child’s protection as an asset-building wealth stacked wrapper.

Indexed Universal Life (IUL) is a permanent structure. It is a tax-free investment account that happens to include a death benefit—the insurance is the wrapper, the wealth is the point.

By starting an IUL for your child when they are young, you build a foundation that compounds with zero market risk thanks to a contractual zero percent floor.

They can access this cash completely tax-free at any age to fund their first business startup, buy real estate, or pay for their wedding.

Let's build a foundation that gives your family a real launchpad.

A living benefit rider on an IUL lets you access a portion of your death benefit while you're still alive — if you're diagnosed with a qualifying chronic, critical, or terminal illness.

Translation: if you get sick, you don't have to drain your savings or sell your home to cover care. You access money from a policy you've already been paying into.

Most people think life insurance is only for when you die. Living benefits change that entirely.

Most people don't know the answer to this.

When you die with an IUL policy, your beneficiary receives the death benefit income tax-free. But what happens to the cash value you spent years building?

In most traditional IUL policies, the death benefit and cash value don't stack — the death benefit is paid and the cash value is absorbed back into the policy.

This is why structuring your policy correctly from the start matters. There are ways to design an IUL that maximizes both.

I'd need to look at your specific situation to give you a real answer — worth a 15-minute conversation: calendly.com/HIROsConsulting — subject to approval and qualification.

Walt Disney used life insurance cash value to fund the early stages of Disneyland. Banks purchase billions in corporate-owned life insurance as a Tier 1 asset.

The wealthy have known this tool exists for a long time. Most regular people have no idea.

The IUL isn't a secret anymore — but it's still underutilized.

As low as $40/month may get you started with a policy beginning at $100,000 — subject to approval and qualification.

I've been in this market for 20 years. Here's what I'm seeing: the people who start early win.

Most people think their IUL is invested in the stock market.

It's not.

Your cash value sits in the carrier's general account — completely protected. The S&P 500 is just the measuring stick for how much interest you earn.

When the market crashes:
✅ Your principal is untouched
✅ Your prior gains are locked in
✅ You credit 0% — not negative

Swipe through to see exactly how the floor mechanism works — and what a real crash looks like side by side. 👉

When the S&P 500 drops 30%, your 401k drops 30%.

When the market tied to your IUL drops 30%, your cash value stays flat. That's the floor.

Most IUL policies come with a 0% floor — meaning the market can drop but your principal doesn't move below zero.

The upside is capped, yes. But when markets crash and your IUL sits at 0% while everyone else is down 30%, that cap looks pretty good.

Your money has the potential to grow with the market and is protected from the downside. Subject to policy terms and caps.

The minimum IUL premium keeps the death benefit active.

The maximum premium — called the modified endowment contract limit — is where the real wealth-building happens.

Most people are sold on the minimum. The people building serious cash value are funding their policy closer to the maximum.

More premium in = more cash value building = more you can access tax-advantaged later.

Overfunding isn't reckless. It's strategy.

Here's something most athletes never hear.

Your financial advisor earns recurring AUM commissions — typically 1% or more per year on every dollar they manage. The more assets they control, the more they earn, every single year.

A life insurance policy? One-time commission. Zero ongoing income for them.

That's why most FAs never bring it up. Not because it's a bad product — but because there's no financial incentive for them to recommend it.

Meanwhile, an IUL could be the most powerful wealth-building tool in your entire portfolio: tax-free compounding, creditor-protected cash value, no market floor, and retirement income that doesn't create a tax bill.

I don't earn recurring fees. I don't manage your portfolio. I fill the gap your current team has a financial reason to ignore.

As low as $40/month may get you started with a policy beginning at $100,000 — subject to approval and qualification.

Most people donate to charity and get zero tax benefit. Not because the deduction doesn't exist — but because they don't itemize, or they don't document correctly.

Here's what most people miss: you need a written acknowledgment from the charity for any donation over $250. Without it, the IRS can disallow the deduction entirely.

Also — non-cash donations (clothing, furniture, equipment) need to be documented at fair market value with a Form 8283 over $500.

Doing good and doing it right aren't mutually exclusive.

Most business owners I work with recover $1,000–$5,000 in deductions just from fixing their documentation.
