In remembrance of one of the greatest assets to the credit union, we honor Bob F. Steel and his years of dedication to AMOCO Federal Credit Union. Mr. Steel’s journey with AMOCO began at the Amoco Oil Refinery. In 1981, he volunteered for AMOCO’s Supervisory Committee, and in 1987, his commitment deepened as he joined the Board of Directors. His unwavering passion and dedication profoundly shaped the credit union's culture. Mr. Steel further demonstrated his leadership by serving as Chairman of the Board from 1991 to 1992 and again from 2007 to 2009. In recognition of his impactful legacy, AMOCO dedicated the Tuscan Lakes branch to him on February 19, 2018. It is through his legacy, support, and guidance that we have become a successful credit union.
